NAATI Kannada, Nathicharami, Naatti and CCL
In the year 1947, a movement called Ekikarana agitated for a separate state to be carved out of Kannada speaking areas. This movement was spearheaded by poets, writers and journalists. Today, Karnataka is a state in India. It has a population of about 70 million people.
History of Kannada
Naati Kannada is a Dravidian language spoken in Southern India, mostly in the state of Karnataka. It is one of the four scheduled languages of India and is an official and administrative language of the state of Karnataka.
It is a language that has a long history, which traces its roots back to the ancient times. Various inscriptions have been discovered which prove that the language has a strong and deep history.
The first full-length Kannada edict at Halmidi dated AD 450, a book of literary criticism from the Rashtrakoota dynasty in the 8th century and other inscriptions are also available that reveal the rich cultural heritage of Kannada.
Kannada is a Dravidian language that combines Brahmi script with Prakrit vocabulary and grammar. It has absorbed a wide variety of vernacular Prakrits as it evolved during the shifting centre of power over time.
Nathicharami
Nathicharami is a film directed by state award-winning director Mansore that explores a woman’s conflict between desire and societal beliefs. Set in Sandalwood, a region where women’s sexuality is still taboo, Nathicharami comes out as a bold take on female desire.
Sruthi Hariharan plays Gowri, a homemaker who is caught between her desire to fulfil her physical needs and the need to stay loyal to her husband. She is compelled to follow her husband’s wishes even after his death but her needs overpower her loyalty and she decides to move forward with a different perspective.
Poonam Kaur, Arvind Krishna and Sandesh Buri star in the movie based on real-life incidents. It’s set to release on 20 OTT platforms on March 10.

Naati
Naatti is a type of food that is very popular in North Karnataka. It is made with rice, a ghee-based vegetable curry, and is a traditional lunchtime snack. Despite being such a simple dish, it is very tasty and is often eaten with coconut milk.

NAATI CCL
NAATI CCL is the test that determines an applicant’s ability to interpret the dialogue between two speakers speaking different languages. The test is conducted by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). The NAATI CCL exam is a point-based immigration process that determines whether you are eligible to migrate to Australia.
