Mel Gibson to star in new thriller being filmed in downtown Las Cruces
LAS CRUCES, New Mexico — A Las Cruces lady snapped quite a few photographs of a guy who who strongly resembled Mel Gibson on the set of a new film becoming filmed in downtown Las Cruces on Monday.
“I think it’s great that they’re filming in Las Cruces,” stated Bonnie Stichter, who said she is a big supporter of Gibson’s flicks. “I am so enthusiastic. My heart’s pumping. I’m hoping to really get a picture with him.”
Crews have been viewed filming Monday early morning in the Digital Caregiver parking good deal on Main Avenue, just south of the downtown plaza. An ABC-7 photographer was requested to leave the parking large amount as crews labored on a shut established.
According to a report from Deadline, a film starring Gibson identified as “Warm Seat” is a thriller that was established to start off filming in New Mexico on Nov. 1. The report did not explicitly state what city would host the flick, but it was thought to be Las Cruces.
